PresidentIt gives me immense pleasure to inform that AIIMS Patna is truly committed to the vision and mission of its establishment for providing "Health for all" and health inclusion. I discern that the Institute envisages the dream to provide the best healthcare facilities to the poorest person in the most remote areas by implementing different government health schemes like Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojna & other government welfare schemes.
During the last eight years, the institute has shown great progress in all three pillars of a premier institute i.e., medical education, research & training, and state of the art healthcare facilities.
Advanced medical care services available at affordable cost at AIIMS Patna has benefitted many patients who had to rush to other metropolitan cities and wait for months to receive treatment.
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU's) with various premier national institutions and international collaboration has initiated a culture of innovations and it will facilitate the exchange of students for gaining experience in diverse fields. Students of AIIMS Patna have now got into prestigious institutes of the country and abroad for post-graduation. Research and scientific milieu as evident from various extramural and intramural projects running in Institute are quite encouraging.
Organization of socio cultural, literary, arts and sports events and activities with the active involvement of students and faculty helps creating a vibrant campus life for all-round development of students and faculty.
I would like to appreciate and congratulate the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna for having done such a tremendous job of providing a state of the art health care facilities to the people of Bihar and surrounding areas. The Institute has been successful in conceptualizing, contemplating, and executing various plans of the government to date. I wish all the very best to its administration, faculty, students, and staff for future endeavours.
